Ms. Sophia is currently the Head of the ICALC English Department and the lead English teacher at ICALC. She is a certified history teacher in Ontario and will be pursuing a Ph.D. in English education at Columbia University. Prior to that, she earned a Master’s degree in Language and Literacies Education at OISE/UT

Ms. Sophia has been teaching English writing for six years and has developed effective approaches to help her students improve their writing skills quickly. She is approachable and patient when working with students. She also has four years of experience as a Guidance Counsellor and has successfully helped many students gain admission to their dream universities in Canada and the U.K.

Ms. Sophia is willing to share her knowledge and skills so that students can further develop their potential.
